My journey as a photography enthusiast

Hi,

I’m Stefan, the enthusiast photographer behind Stefography.com. By day, I work in tech, and on weekends, I indulge my passion for travel.

My journey with photography began in my teenage years, sparked by the countless family photos my parents collected during my early childhood. I could spend hours poring over them, captivated by the stories they told.

At 14, my dear friend Anna gave me a much-appreciated gift: an analog point-and-shoot camera. It was a joy to use, though the cost of film and development made every shot precious.

Later, as a young adult, I experimented with my brother’s Nikon D3000, reigniting my passion for photography. I captured countless images, each telling its own story, but most ended up tucked away on a storage server, never to be seen again.

Fast forward a decade, and after snapping thousands of cool travel shots on my phone, a trip to Iceland revived my love for photography. My friend brought along his analog cameras, sparking a renewed interest in capturing the world through a lens.

To prevent my photos from being forgotten in digital folders, I decided to create this blog. Here, I share the beauty I see in the world, one photo at a time.

Thank you for visiting,

Stefan
